Half day or full day private escorted tours to the area’s historical sites can be arranged by the front desk, including pick up/drop off at the hotel and a registered guide to take you through your chosen sites. Koh Ker Excursion
An early start to the day with a light breakfast provided before leaving the hotel at 0600. An hour and a half's journey while the world awakes around you takes you to the lost city of Koh Ker, a relic of the Khmer empire. A guided tour around the stunning architecture of this city which was the Khmer capital in the 10th century is followed by a picnic lunch in the paddy fields. Continue in the afternoon around this fascinating grouping of temples, ancient statues and monuments, and don't forget to climb to the top of the 40-foot temple Prasat Thom, for spectacular views across the temple complex and surrounding countryside.

Private Cruise on Tonle Sap
For those with a little extra time, we recommend a private cruise on a 25m long wooden boat on Tonle Sap Lake. Tonle Sap is the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia, and the perfect spot for watching a romantic sunset.
